Abstract :Omid Ghaemmaghami’nin Encounters with the Hidden Imam in Early and Pre-Modern Twelver Shi‘i Islam adlı çalışması konuyu doktora tezi düzeyinde inceleyen detaylı bir çalışma olarak duruyor. Toronto Üniversitesi’nde Todd Lawson danışmanlığında hazırlanan tez, Vedad Kadı, Muhammed Ali Amir Muezzi, Dewin Stewart ve Moojan Momen gibi İmamiyye/İsnaaşeriyye uzmanları tarafından da gözden geçirilmiştir. Konuyla ilgili kaynak eserlerin ve Batı dillerinde yapılan çağdaş araştırmaların dikkatle gözden geçirildiği bu çalışmanın kapağında yer verilen “ve seye’tî şî‘atî men yedde‘i’l-müşâhede” ifadesi, gaip imama nispet edilen son mek- tupta (tevkî‘) geçer.
