Management of coronary artery bypass graft operation in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis
Abstract
Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory condition with joint and systemic involvement. It is common in females than males. As many other systems, vascular system can be affected due to inflammatory process involved in rheumatoid arthritis which may lead to coronary artery disease. Treatment strategies become more important because of using specific medication for the disease. Our aim is to present a case with rheumatoid arthritis to whom coronary artery bypass graft operation was performed.
