Abstract :Climate change, one of the most significant issues that man faces in our day and age, has taken on a new dimension which causes anxiety. The increase in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which is one of the major factors of global warming and therefore climate change, is an issue that requires all international community to campaign against. Despite the fact that international shipping is the most environment friendly mode of transport, in terms of GHG emissions, it still is a notable and growing factor. So and so, in the absence of new reduction policies and due to the expected growth in shipping, it is estimated that ship emissions will grow at a higher rate in the future.
