Abstract :Analysis of theory and practice shows that younger students have difficulties in developing written coherent speech (when writing essays and presentations). In creating their own texts (essays), primary school students often rely on their own life experience, sometimes they rely only on intuition, and not on the knowledge they have received. They have little knowledge of the text, and the theoretical knowledge they acquired in Russian lessons is not used properly in practice.
