Abstract :Maksillofasiyal defektler, travma, enfeksiyon, malign neoplazmlar, konjenital ve gelişimsel anomaliler sonucu oluşmaktadır. Bu defektlerin restorasyonunda sıklıkla protetik tedaviler kullanılmaktadır. Çene yüz protezlerinin tutuculuğunda kullanılan klasik yöntemler; etkili bir retansiyon sağlamaktan uzaktır. Etkili retansiyon için kullanılan osseointegre implantlar hastanın maksimum rehabilitasyonunda önemli katkılar sağlamaktadırlar. Bu literatür derlemesinin amacı; intraoral implant destekli maksillofasiyal protezlerde tedavi planlaması, implant yerleşimi ve retansiyon sistemleri ilgili bilgi vermektir
