Abstract :İki Cihan, Osmanlı Devleti’nin kuruluşundan İstanbul’un fethine kadar olan süreçte merkezi otorite ve merkez kaç unsurlar arasındaki gerilimlere atıfta bulunmak için Kafadar’ın tercih etmiş olduğu bir kavramdır. Bir tarafta merkezi otoriteyi temsilen Hanedan-ı Osman diğer tarafta ise Türkmen aristokrasisinin başını çektiği Gazi aileleri.
