Abstract :The construction sector ranks among the top three sectors in terms of occupational accidents and work-related diseases, according to evaluations. Therefore, research on occupational health and safety (OHS) in this sector is increasingly prevalent and studied, but there is insufficient bibliometric analysis conducted on these studies. This study aims to investigate the research conducted worldwide on accidents in the construction sector and the key points emphasized in these studies, using bibliometric analysis. The articles considered in this study were analyzed using Bibliometrix, an R-based software. A search using the term \"Occupational health and safety\" in the SCOPUS database resulted in 48,046 studies. The results of this study indicate that the documents cover the time period from 1990 to 2023 and are spread across 187 different sources, including journals, books, book chapters, and conference papers. The average age of the documents is 8.27, and the annual growth rate is 3.39%. The studies place significant emphasis on safety climate and education. When examining the data, it can be observed that the majority of publications come from Australia. Within their respective groups, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Italy, Singapore, South Africa, China, Greece, and Indonesia are closely related. Canada and Spain are connected through other groups. The fact that the most cited study is from Turkey and is among the top publications indicates a high level of importance given to OHS in recent years.
