Abstract :Kendi içinde tutarlı bir bütün arz etmese de, federalist yaklaşımlar Avrupa bütünleşmesinin hemen her safhasında etkili olmuştur. Bu yaklaşımların AB’nin geleceği hakkında bazı ipuçlarına işaret etmesi, federalist akımların daha yakından incelenmesini gerektirmektedir. Bu çalışma, konunun tarihsel arkaplanı ve kavramsal temelleri doğrultusunda söz konusu tartışmaları ve yaklaşımları değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır
