Abstract :Çevre muhasebesi, işletmelerin çevresel ve ekonomik performansını artırmak için önemli bir yönetim aracıdır. Çevre muhasebesi işletmelere, rasyonel çevresel kararların alınmasında, çevresel stratejilerin belirlenmesinde, çevresel maliyetlerin yönetilmesinde ve çevresel performansın raporlanmasında yararlı bilgiler sağlar. Bu çalışmada, işletmelerin çevre muhasebesi konularına yaklaşımları araştırılmış, İzmir İli’nde farklı sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren işletmelere uygulanan anket çalışmasının istatistiksel sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir
