Abstract :Bu çalışma Osmaniye ve Kahramanmaraş illerinden toplanan, Türkiye florasına yayılmış olan Salvia pilifera Montbret & Aucher ex Benth.' nın uçucu yağ içeriğini ve bileşimini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Temmuz 2011'de çiçeklenme döneminde farklı yerlerden toplanan S. pilifera'nın çiçekli dalları bitki materyali olarak kullanılmıştır. Havada kurutulmuş numunelerin esansiyel yağ içerikleri, Clevenger tipi aparat kullanılarak hidrodistilasyon yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Uçucu yağın bileşimi GC-MS'de analiz edildi. Uçucu yağın ana bileşenleri α-pinen %10.15 Ahırdağı, %865 Göksun, %2084 Hasanbeyli, %477 Narlı, okaliptol %587 Ahırdağı, %5.16 Göksun, %1518 Hasanbeyli, %1112 Narlı olarak belirlenmiştir
