Abstract :Tedavi ve aşılamanın henüz geliştirilememesi nedeniyle HIV / AIDS epidemisi önemli bir halk sağlığı sorunu olarak Türkiye'de ve Dünya'da ölümlere neden olmaktadır. Bu makalede 1980-1992 yılları arasında dünyanın değişik bölgelerinde ve Türkiye'de AIDS epidemisi ile ilgili bilgiler sunulmuştur.
