Abstract :  The proccess of intcgration to the vvorld economy is llıe adjustrnent ol the national economy to the idtal structures and the basic tendencies of the vvorld economy. The integration of Turkish economy to the vvorld economy follovving the implementation of an invvard oriented industrialization policy for a cosiderably long time and the resulting balancc of payments and development problems is the subject matter of this papcr. The integration to the vvorld economy is analysed taking into consideration the participation and adjustrnent into the vvorld trade vvhich is the main characteristic of this phenomenon.
