Abstract :  In this paper, a 0 -1 programming model is developed to solve line - balancing problems. The objective function is set in such away that it simultaınously takes into account the rate of production and the labor time. The application of this model on various problems has indicated the fact that the cycle length and the number of stations to be opened depends on the level of pıofit contribution and the unit labor cost.
