Abstract :In this studv, efforts of obtaining common energy policy of European Economic Community vvas analyzed. According to findings of this study, developments oblained in the area of energy in EEC after 1974 showed significant differcnces among the members of the Community. Insufficient coordination of member countries in obtaining common energy policy, the different energy resourse endovvments that are ovvned by them, and the different energy pricing policies arc the main reasons of these differences.
