Abstract :  Production includes any process that transforms one or more inputs into an output. Inputs are com-bined to produce output using the best available tech-nology or known methods of production. The rela-tionship betueen various combinations of inputs and the resulting maximum rates of output is called the production function. A production function may be expressed in three forms; Type A, Type B and Type C. Type A production function States that: as the rate of one input is increased relative to others, the • marginal physical product of that input vvill even- tually dccline. Type B is introduced against to type A. Type B production function States that the quantities of inputs are not unlimited in a knovvn time interval. Type C is a combination of other two production functions.
