Abstract :During the Covid-19 pandemic period, when remote education and working from home came to the fore, the importance of university information and remote education systems in this process has emerged. The digital transformation process and business continuity in the information technology infrastructure has been of great importance in terms of the services provided to students and staff during the pandemic period. The need for infrastructure for areas such as automation systems, electronic document management systems, online education and learning management systems has suddenly increased during the pandemic process, and it has been a situation faced by universities to meet this need and ensure business continuity by data centers. Because; various applications were made for the criteria to be considered in the design of the data center, redundant infrastructure, security, and later flexibility and business continuity. In this study, Suleyman Demirel University data center planning and business continuity application is given by presenting how the three-location redundant data center planning should be done according to TIER and ISO22301 standards.
