Abstract :Dil ve çeviribilim terimlerinin net mesajlar vermediğini söyleyebiliriz. Böyle kapalı ve yoruma müsait olanlardan birisi de kelime kelime çeviri terimidir. Bu terim, anlamı anlamına çeviri nin karşıtı olarak tanıtılır. Oysa bütün çeviriler anlamı aktarmaya matuftur. Bizce anlamı anlamına çeviri niyetin, kelime kelime çeviri ise temel anlamın çevirisidir ve bu çeviriler böyle adlandırılmalıdır. Bu makalede böyle bir terimleştirme problemini tartışacağız.
