Abstract :The aim of this study is to examine the effects of development agencies on regional development. The impact of the financial support programs of the development agency operating in the TR41 region on regional development was investigated in depth by qualitative analysis. Unlike studies based on quantitative methods or mixed approaches, this study explores the subjective experiences and perceptions of beneficiary institutions, providing a detailed depiction of how development agency interventions shape regional development. The findings underline the dynamic and evolving nature of regional development in line with the New Regionalism Approach; contributes to the literature with a detailed case study by emphasizing the importance of local resources, stakeholder engagement and sustainable development practices; It offers practical implications for policy makers and regional development practitioners.
