The Impact of Organizational Agility on Innovation Performance: The Key Role of Digital Transformation

Abstract :In today’s dynamic business environment, this study explores how organizational learning mediates the relationship between organizational agility and innovation performance, and how digital transformation moderates this process. Based on Dynamic Capabilities Theory and data from 500 private-sector employees in Türkiye, findings show that agility enhances learning, which in turn improves innovation. Moreover, digital transformation strengthens this indirect effect, with learning contributing more to innovation at higher digital maturity levels. Without strong digital capabilities, learning’s impact remains limited. The results emphasize that agility must be supported by both a learning-oriented culture and digital investments to maximize innovation.
