Abstract :Halil Gülel, bugün Almanya’da nüfusu 2.5 milyona yaklaşan Türk işçi topluluğunun duygularını, yalnızlığını ve yaşadığı sıkıntıları şiirle, nesirle anlatmaya çalışmıştır. Genellikle 11’li, zaman zaman 8’li hece ölçüsü ile kaleme aldığı şiirlerinde, Türklerin Almanya’da yaşadığı sıkıntı, gurbet kaygısı, yalnızlık, çekilen geçim sıkıntısı ve vatan hasretini anlatmaktadır. Türk edebiyatının yayıldığı geniş sahaya, bu yüzyılda Almanya’da yaşayan Türklerin edebiyatı da eklenmiş, Halil Gülel de bu edebiyatın bir parçası olarak bu coğrafyada edebi ürünler vermiştir. Halil Gülel has tried to express the feelings, loneliness and the distresses of the 2.5 million Turkish workers who live in Germany today. Usually he tells the difficulties, the homesickness for the homeland, lonelinnes, and the bad straits of the Turks in his poems he wrote, with the 8 syllabic meter. The literature of the Turkish people living in Germany was added to the wide area of the Turkish literature and also Halil Gülel takes a part of the literature in this geographhy.
