Abstract :Bu çalışmada 366 adet mastitisli inek sütü incelemeye alındı. Bunlardan 4 (% 1.1 )'ünde B. ce re us izole ve identifiye edildi. izole edilen bu suşlar koyunlara intramammal olarak 2 ml. (8x10 13 germ/ml) verildi. 5. gün kesilen koyunların meme dokusu kesitlerinin histopatolojik muayenesinde Galactophoritis et mastitis catarrhalis acuta, 7. günden sonra kesilenlerde ise mastitis interstitialis nonpurulenta geliştiği saptandı. B. cereus'un ineklerde ve koyunlarda bir mastitis etkeni olarak düşünülmesi gerektiği kanısına varıldı .
