Abstract :Civil governmental process have been cut four times by military forces in Turkey. These include; 27 May 1960 Stroke, 12 March 1971 Memorandum, 12 September 1980 Stroke and 28 February 1997 Process. In this paper, week democratic culture of Turkey, deviation tendency of Atatiirk's principles and revolution, failures of civil governments, relations of military and civil governments, and some external factors are proposed as causes of interm regims in Turkey.
