Abstract :In this study; we analysed whether there is a connection between the theory of median-voter (majority voting) and Pareto optimality conditions or not.First, we started to analyse the theory of political science with the tools of neo-classical economics.After we mentioned the theories of Arrow and impossibility, we of Arrow and impossibility, we reached the conclusion that; majority voting is Pareto efficient only under special conditions.
