Abstract :Öksürük günlük pratikte sık görülen bir semptom olup, genellikle spesifik bir tedavi gerektirmez. Kot fraktürü ve pnömotoraks öksürüğün neden olduğu nadir komplikasyonlardır. Bu yazıda öksürüğün neden olduğu bir kot fraktürü olgusu sunulmuştur. Acil servisde; şiddetli öksürük ve beraberinde ani başlangıçlı bir gögüs ağrısı ayırıcı tanısında, öksürüğün neden olduğu kot fraktürü akla gelmelidir.
