Abstract :ÖZ Çalışma, “yaşlı ayrımcılığına maruz kalmanın sağlık problemi yaşama ile yaşamama, cinsiyet ve yaş bağımsız değişkenlerine göre gösterdiği farklılıkları” test etmektedir. Evrenini Bursa ve Yalova’da yaşayan ve örneklemini de basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle anket uygulanan 65 yaş üstü 435 yaşlının oluşturduğu araştırmada veriler, araştırmacılarca hazırlanan anket formu aracılığı ile ve yine araştırmacılar tarafından huzurevlerine değil bizzat evlere gidilerek yüz yüze görüşmeyle toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS for Windows 20.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiş, frekans değerleri ve değişkenler arasındaki ilişkileri bulmak için çapraz tablo değerleri kullanılmıştır. Anahtar kelimeler : yaşlı birey, yaşlı ayrımcılığı, tedbirler   Elderly Discrimination from the Perspective of the Elderly: The Bursa and Yalova Examples   ABSTRACT The study tests “ the differences that being exposed to elderly discrimination display due to the independent variables of either having a health problem or not, gender and age. ” In the study, whose target population and sampling are composed of 435 elderly who are over the age of 65 people living in Bursa and Yalova who had been implemented a questionnaire with the method of simple random sampling, the data has been collected by the researchers through the questionnaire forms prepared by the researchers by actually going to the residences of the elderly with face to face interviews, not by going to the elderly care centers. The obtained data is analyzed with the software of SPSS for Windows 20.0, and the cross table values are used to determine the values of frequencies and the relationship between the variables.
