Abstract :News, which was distributed by word of mouth in prehistoric times and written on paper in recent history, reaches its readers via the internet in today’s digital world. This transformation has rapidly changed the speed, reliability and price of news. The opportunities provided by today’s digital technologies have a great share in the fact that news has become completely a commercial product. Today, one of the most practical ways to access news is online journalism platforms. There are many studies in the literature on these platforms at local or national level. In this study, an international and interdisciplinary research was conducted on these platforms. The sample of the research is the most visited online journalism sites of the 20 founding countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. These sites were examined with various parameters such as paid subscriptions, advertisements, search engine optimization, design principles, human-computer interaction, and journalism ethics principles. In addition, source code organizations, the number of visitors and upload performance of the sites were measured with universal metrics. All the results obtained were presented and interpreted with tables and graphs. Keywords : Çevrimiçi gazetecilik, Web tasarımı, İnsan bilgisayar etkileşimi, Haberler
