Abstract :This letter to the editor discusses the valuable study by Aybike Rzalı and Ülkü Demirci on the relationship between serum ferritin levels and metabolic syndrome in postmenopausal women. While commending the authors for their important contribution to a relatively understudied area, we offer suggestions regarding the inclusion of additional exclusion criteria to account for factors that may influence ferritin levels and metabolic syndrome parameters, aiming to support further refinement and future research in this field.
