Abstract :The demands for a product or service vary according to many factors. One of these elements is the consumer\\\'s tastes and preferences. The variable that shapes this characteristic of individuals is their qualities. Under normal circumstances, demand for health services remains at the same level as for other services, regardless of price. However, it is seen that personality traits are effective in postponing the demand for health services. A person can postpone this service according to the quality they have. The main purpose of the study is to determine the effect of the five-factor personality traits of extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, openness to experience and emotional balance on postponing the demand for health services. In this context, a survey was applied to 718 people across the country. According to the findings, a significant relationship was found between the subcomponents of the Five-Factor Personality traits, extroversion, agreeableness and self-control and the Behavior of Postponing the Demand for Health Services, while no relationship was found between neuroticism and openness to experience.
