Abstract :This study examines the mediating role of job stress in the relationship between perceived mushroom management and intention to quit. The research sample consisted of healthcare professionals working in a private hospital in Ankara. Research data were obtained through a questionnaire and were analyzed using SmartPLSv3 software. The analysis revealed that perceived mushroom management and job stress significantly affect and exacerbate employees\\\' intention to quit their jobs. Additionally, it was seen that job stress has a mediating role in the relationship between perceived mushroom management and intention to quit among healthcare employees. Study limitations include response biases, a single private hospital setting, a cross-sectional design, and limited generalizability due to convenience sampling. Organizations need to develop strategies that consider mushroom management and job stress factors. Creating a healthy work environment and reducing and managing job stress will help reduce employees\\\' intention to quit. It fills the research gap in the literature by providing further evidence on mushroom management. The paper also recommends that organizations develop strategies considering mushroom management and job stress factors. Keywords : Mantar yönetim, işten ayrılma niyeti, iş stresi, özel hastane, aracı etki
