Abstract :Globalization have several implications on banking industy. Changes in the business environment have altered bankers' views and appropriate goals. Banks have turned away from their traditional business and trading. However, this cycle has brought about increased competition among and made banking a much riskier business. The present stüdy evaluates banking industry in this changing environment. İt is concluded that the future not be an extension of the pasta After three decades of growth, multinational banking seems to be changing its course as bankers have a need for new directions.
