Abstract :Governance approach refers to an understanding that includes some improvements made in the management system to improve it. Many technological, global, and cultural changes that exist today lead to the emergence of different desires and needs of individuals. In this context, public services are undergoing significant transformations within their existing management systems to meet changing expectations. The importance of public services that include good governance principles is increasing in meeting these demands and needs. In this regard, the concept of public value, which prioritizes both the provision of public services and understanding the desires and needs of individuals, becomes linked to the principles of good governance. Based on this idea, this research aims to determine whether good governance principles are effective in creating public value. In this regard, the study was carried out by applying a survey method to people in the service area of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. As a result of the study, it was seen that good management principles and public services, when applied, are very effective in creating public value and creating a high sense of satisfaction.
