Abstract :Türk Edebiyatında nasihatname türünde yazılmış eserlerin oranı oldukça fazladır. Bu eserlerin bir kısmı doğrudan doğruya öğüt vermek, insanları doğru yola sevketmek, bilgilendirmek için yazılmıştır. Süleyman Penâhî de eserini insanlara dini, ahlaki konularda öğüt vermek amacıyla yazmıştır. Kendi ifadesine göre Penâhî, Miftahü’l-cenne (Cennetin Anahtarı) isimli mensur eseri görmüş ve insanlara faydalı olmak, onları mutlu etmek amacıyla nazım olarak yazdığını dile getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada Türk edebiyatında daha önce incelenmemiş olan bu eserin muhtevası günümüz okuyucusuna tanıtılmıştır.
