Abstract :Aim: To investigate HOMA-IR and Vitamin D levels in patients complaining of weight gain and to idendify their relationship with blood parameters taken for examination. Materials and Methods: There were a sum of 99 participants in the research (nmale = 25, nfemale = 74). Fasting glucose and insulin, cholesterol, complete blood count, aspartate/alanine transaminase, thyroid stimulating hormone and 25-OH D levels were studied. Two different groups were created in the study. By calculating HOMA IR; those > 2.5 and above were placed in the insulin resistance group, while those 2.5 and 25 OH D <20. However, while HOMA IR was positively related to MPV, 25 OH D was negatively associated with TSH.Keywords : HOMA IR, Vitamin D, Açlık glukoz, MPV, TSH
