Abstract :Artan yakıt yatları ve emisyonların azaltılma zorunluluğu gibi nedenlerden dolayı biyodizel son zamanlarda büyük ilgi görmüştür. Biyodizelin geniş kaynakları arasında mikroalgler yüksek biyo kütle lipit üretimi ve çevre dostu olmaları dolayısı ile umut vadeden alternatif kaynaklardır. Mikro algler yenilebilir kaynaklar arasında olmadığından insan gıdasının tedarikini zorlaştırmazlar.Bu çalışmada mikroalglerde transesteri kasyon metodu ile biyodizel üretilmiş ve dizel yakıtı ile çeşitli oranlarda karıştırılarak tek silindirli motorda test edilmiştir.
