Abstract :Çalışmamızda Gladiolus antakiensis A. P. Hamilton ve Gladiolus atroviolaceus Boiss. türleri üzerinde morfolojik ve anatomik araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Kök skapus ve yaprak gibi vejetatif organlarının morfolojik ve anatomik karakterleri detaylı bir şekilde incelenerek fotoğra anmıştır.İki türde de kormtuniğin inretikulat brilli olduğu gözlenmiştir. G . antakiensis türünde kum kristalleri saptanmıştır.Türlerde yaprak iletim demetlerinin etra arında sklerenkima grupları gözlenmiştir. Çalışılan türlerin anatomic özelliklerinin çoğu Iridaceae familyasının diğer üyeleriyle benzerlik göstermektedir.
