Abstract :Sediment tarama, ötro kasyonun kontrolü amacıyla kullanılan göl içi yönetim uygulamalarından biridir. Bu çalışmada, sediment tarama yönteminin amaçları, avantaj ve dezavantajları ile kullanılan ekipmanlar ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca bu çerçevede, farklı özellikteki göllerde yapılan bazı çalışmalar sunulmuştur. Göl yönetimlerinde sediment tarama, uygun ekipman seçildiğinde ve bilimsel veriler ışığında uygulandığında başvurulan bir teknik olarak geçerliliğini korumaktadır.
