Abstract :ÖZ Genelde dinlerin özelde ise İslam’ın teorik çerçevesi incelendiğinde, yoksulluğun insan onurunu zedeleyen etkilerini hafifletmeye yönelik öğretilerin bu çerçeve içerisinde önemli bir yer işgal ettiği görülmektedir. Bu makale, böyle bir gözlemden hareketle ele alınmış olup öncelikle yoksulluk-insan onuru ilişkisinin sosyal psikolojik açıdan bir değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Sonra bu değerlendirmenin perspektifinde yoksulluk, insan onuru ve din ilişkisinin, özellikle İslam’ın yoksulluğun insan onuru üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerini telafi etmeye, insan onurunu korumaya yönelik teorik bağlamı ve bu bağlamın gündelik hayata yansıma biçimleri anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. ABSTRACT Poverty, Human Dignity and Religion When the theoretical framework of religions in general and Islam, in particular, is analyzed, it is observed that the poverty’s teachings intended for mitigating human dignity occupy an important place within this framework. This essay is written with reference to such an observation and firstly the relationship between poverty and human dignity is evaluated with regard to social-psychological perspective. Next, in the perspective of this evaluation, relation of poverty, human dignity and religions -particularly that of Islam-, theoretical context intended for compensating and protecting the negative effects of poverty on human dignity and also reflection forms of this context to daily life are tried to be understood.
