Abstract :This research was conducted with a cross-sectional design to determine the anxiety sensitivity and psychological well-being of individuals experiencing migraine or tension-type headache. The data were collected from the Demographic Information Form, Anxiety Sensitivity Index-3, and Psychological Well-Being Scale. The study was completed with 147 people diagnosed with migraine or tension-type headache. It has been determined that the Anxiety Sensitivity Index-3 mean score is 40.86±10.43, and the Psychological Well-Being Scale mean score is 42.28±6.41. There is a significant and negative correlation between the mean scores of Psychological Well-Being, Anxiety Sensitivity, and the subscale of Cognitive Concerns (p<0.05). The subscale of Cognitive Concerns predicted 12.7% of the participants\\\' Psychological Well-being (F:21.039; p<0.001). While Anxiety Sensitivity was significantly higher among the women in the study, it was significantly lower among those whose income was higher than their expenses. PWBS was significantly higher among participants whose income was lower than their expenses (p<0.05). The study\\\'s findings indicate that patients diagnosed with migraine or tension-type headache exhibit an anxiety sensitivity that exceeds the median level. Furthermore, the study found that the negative interpretation of cognitive symptoms of anxiety was associated with improved psychological well-being in these patients.
