Abstract :Bağdat’ta yetişmiş büyük sûfilerden biri olan Ebû Muhammed Ruveym b. Ahmed, hicri III. asrın başlarında bu şehirde doğmuş ve tahsil görmüş olmasıdır. Kur’ân tefsiri sahasında derin bilgisi olduğu gibi, aynı zamanda güvenilir bir râvi olan İdrîs b. Abdilkerîm el-Haddâd’tan (v. 292/904) (3) kırâat oku muştu (4). Fıkıhta, Ebû Süleyman Dâvûdb. Alî b. Halef el-İsfahânî’nin imâmı bulunduğu zâhirî mezhebindendir
