Abstract :The continuous Hermite functions have been used for continuous signal approximations for some time. Vectors called discrete Hermite functions are presented in this paper that model digital signals in a similar way, often with excellent compression capabilities. When used in conjunction with ANNs insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(artifical neural networks); Hermite founctions can effectively reduce computational load and provides faster classification. In this work we purpose a method for classification of ECG signals using Hermite basis functions.
