Abstract :Bu çalışmada postmodernizmin Yetişkin Eğitimi alanı üzerindeki muhtemel etkileri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla, modernizmin moderniteye bir tepki olarak doğması ile temel ilkeleri tartışılmış, mevcut Yetişkin Eğitimi kuram ve uygulamalarının çeşitli özellikleri incelenerek postmodern düşüncenin altında yatan temel fikirlerle olan benzerlikleri analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda mevcut Yetişkin Eğitimi kuram ve uygulamalarında postmodernizmin etkisi olduğuna dair güçlü göstergeler olduğu tesbiti yapılmaktadır.
