Abstract :Hemşirelik Bakımında El Masajı Uygulaması ve Yapılan Çalışmaların  Sistematik Analizi   Özet (≤250 KELİME) Amaç:  Bu sistematik derleme, masajın bölgesel uygulaması olan el masajı ile ilgili yapılan  çalışmaları incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma tanımlayıcı  tipte bir kayıt araştırmasıdır. Konuyla ilgili makalelere ulaşmak için Ovid, Medline  ve Pubmed gibi veri tabanları taranmıştır. Yapılan taramalarda ‘massage’, ‘massage  therapy’, ‘hand massage, ‘nursing’ gibi anahtar kelimeler kullanılmıştır. Ocak - Nisan  2016 tarihleri arasında yapılan taramalar sonucu belirlenen seçim kriterlerine uygun  toplam 19 çalışmaya ulaşılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmalar incelendiğinde; çalışmaların  %31.5’i (n=6) ameliyat sonrası ağrı, %31.5’i (n=6) yaşlılarda demans, depresyon, ajite  davranış gibi hastalık ve semptomların yönetiminde, %10.5’i (n=2) romatoid artrit tanısı  almış bireylerde ağrı ve %10.5’i (n=2) karpal tünel sendromu olan hastalarda hastalığın  semptom yönetiminde masajın etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Sonuç: Bu çalışmanın sonucunda, hemşirelerin, el masajı uygulaması ile ilgili bilgi sahibi  olarak, daha etkin bakım verebilmek için maliyeti olmayan, kolay uygulanabilen ve  etkin sonuçlar veren el masajı uygulamasını, hemşirelik bakımına direkt olarak dahil  edebilecekleri düşünülmektedir. Materials and Method: This  study is a descriptive record research. The data of study were gathered from databases  like Ovid, Medline and Pubmed. The key words such as ‘massage’, ‘massage therapy’,  ‘hand massage, ‘nursing’ were used. Sample of this study had totally 19 studies which  met the inclusion criteria after the literature review between the dates of January and  April 2016. Findings: When studies were examined, it was found out that studies were  carried out to evaluate the effect of massage therapy on postoperative pain in 31.5% (n= 6) of studies, on management of symptoms as dementia and depression in 31.5% (n=6)  of studies, on pain in patients with rhematoid arthritis in 10.5% (n=2) of studies and on  management of symptoms in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome in 10.5% (n=2) of  the studies. Conclusion: Consequently, it is thought that nurses, who have knowledge  about the hand massage, could directly include the hand massage application, that is  easily applied, cost-effective and which gives effective results, into the nursing care.
