Abstract :Posterior reversible ensefalopati sendromu PRES baş ağrısı, konfüzyon, şuur bulanıklığı, görme bozuklukları ve nöbet ile klinik bulgu veren ve radyolojik olarak beynin posterior alanlarında ödem ile karakterize geçici bir durumdur ancak tanı ve tedavinin gecikmesi durumunda ölümcül olabilecek komplikasyonlar gelişebilir. Bu makalede postpartum nöbet geçiren ve klinik ve radyolojik olarak PRES tanısı konan bir olgu sunularak ayırıcı tanıda PRES sendromunun akılda tutulması gerekliliği vurgulanmıştır.
