Abstract :In this article, we focus on the thought of freedom in the tradition of Islamic Philosophy from the theological and philosophical dimensions. Freedom perhaps the most powerful of the ideas with its implications, have inspired mankind throughout the ages. Freedom seems a foreign idea, but not alien to Muslims. We have seen that muslim thinkers curiously approached to the concept of freedom. However written on freedom a lot, but it is hard to say that they had set up a free world, succesfully.
