Abstract :The Compassionate (rahman) and The Merciful (rahim) are two main attributes of God, the most repeated ones in the Quran. According to Elmalili, who emphasized Allah?s treatment all the creatures with the Compassion, in God-World relations these attributes come first. By dividing the Compassion (rahmet) into two parts as a rahmani rahmet and rahimi rahmet, he thinks that the first (rahmani rahmet), the essence of which is benevolence (ihsan), covers all creatures while the second, (rahimi rahmet) the essence of which is justice (adalet), relates only the man and his actions.
