Abstract :How is the relationship of Almighty and Eternal God with the world? Serious debates that took place between different school of thoughts that emerged in Islamic history on the subject led a creative legacy. Especially debates between Ibn Sînâ and Muslim theologians that resulted even the accusation of takfir (blasphemy) were very remarkable. What were the factors that urged to the theologians vehemently defended the theory of creation of ex nihilo? Was it to support their theory by the verses of the Qur'an? What were the dynamics on the background of the defense of Ibn Sînâ's theory of temporal eternality of the world and what were his proofs? This article aims to answer these questions and to find clues and signs in the context of these debates between Ibn Sînâ and the theologians. Is it a deep crack that requires the accusation of the takfir (blasphemy) or not?
