Abstract :Introduction: Premenstrual disorders namely premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder, are a group of physical, cognitive, affective, and behavioral symptoms that occur cyclically during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle and resolve at or within a few days of the onset of menstruation. Data were collected by using "Introductory Information Form” and "Premenstrual Syndrome Scale (PMSS)”. The data obtained were evaluated by the researcher using SPSS 21.0 (The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences- PC Version 21.0) package program. Results: The mean total score of the PMSS was 123.46 ± 36.14. It was found that there was a statistically significant relationship between menarche age and depressive affect subdimension and first menarche age and depressive thoughts subdimension (p <0.01). A statistically significant relationship was found between age of menarche and nervousness sub-dimension, anxiety sub-dimension and bulging sub-dimension (p <0.05).
