Abstract :The aim of this study is to identify the factors influencing individuals’ satisfaction with municipal aid to the sick and the poor in Türkiye, using the microdata sets from the 2023 Life Satisfaction Survey conducted by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) and analyzing them through a Stereotype Ordered Regression model. An examination of the model results reveals that the variables of age, marital status, education level, employment status, level of happiness, satisfaction with health, household size, social security status, and income level are statistically significant. The study reveals that as individuals age, the probability of being satisfied with municipal aid to the sick and the poor increases. On the other hand, the study shows that as the education level of individuals increases, the probability of being satisfied with such municipal aid decreases. In addition, individuals who are dissatisfied with their health are less likely to be satisfied with municipal aid to the sick and the poor compared to those who are very satisfied with their health. Keywords : Stereotype sıralı regresyon, Türkiye, yaşam memnuniyeti araştırması
