Abstract :Agriculture is one of the most significant issues of a society. It is among the leading points such as for nutrition, industry and employment. In Türkiye, the phenomenon of agriculture has been handled carefully since the first years of the republic. The necessary institutions and legislation have been established and the state has always continued its pioneering role in agriculture. In this study, the agricultural policies put forward by the state in Türkiye have been examined specifically in the Eflani district of Karabük. First, the history of agricultural policies in Türkiye has been explained. Then, the reflections of the agricultural policies upon the Eflani district have been compiled. Finally, the functionality of agricultural policies in Eflani district has been discussed and some suggestions that are expected to be useful throughout the country have been presented.
