Abstract :Today, AI-based translation technologies are widely utilized in translation and localization processes. As these technologies become increasingly integrated into these workflows, they not only accelerate operations but also introduce new quality standards. This paper evaluates the performance of AI-assisted machine translation systems in translating English into Turkish, focusing on terminology management, semantic shifts, and contextual accuracy. Additionally, the study explores the evolving collaboration between human translators and AI, examining the role of translators in post-editing within the framework of quality assessment criteria. A comparative analysis of AI-generated and human translations will be conducted using various translation output examples. Finally, the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence in the translation and localization industry will be discussed and both academic and industry perspectives will be outlined. Keywords : Artificial Intelligence, translation technologies, linguistic quality assurance, language data
